When talking about marijuana the other day, I told a sitting legislator that I would grow my own or buy from the black market before I would go to a pharmacy to get my medicine.
Why would I say such a thing?
Because for many patients who choose cannabis to treat their symptoms, pharmaceuticals are NOT medicine. They’re poison. They often come with devastating, even life-threatening, side-effects. Many patients who choose cannabis have already gone through the gauntlet of drugs and other treatments and have finally found something that works.
