Working Groups Formed: Another Round of Marijuana Rule Changes Ahead

The Marijuana Enforcement Division of the Colorado Department of Revenue has announced five new rulemaking working groups.

  • Testing/Packaging/Labeling
  • Production Management, meets twice
  • Licensing, and Permitted Economic Interests
  • Licensed Premises, Enforcement and Compliance Requirements
  • HB14-1361 (Equivalencies) and HB14-1366 (Identifiable Retail Edibles)

Cannabis Patients Alliance is proud to announce that Executive Director Teri Robnett has been appointed to the Testing/Packaging/Labeling Working Group.

Meetings will be held over the next two weeks and are open to the public. For times, locations and list of participants, please go to our calendar here and click on each event.

The permanent rulemaking hearing will be held:

Monday, August 31, 2015
Tuesday, September 1, 2015 (if needed)

The draft rules will be updated on the DOR/MED’s website the week of August 3rd.

The deadline for written comments is Tuesday, September 1, 2015 at 5:00 p.m. Comments should be submitted on the MED Suggested Rule Revision to Rules Form.
